How Order Automator Works
Welcome to Order Automator, great to see you here! 😃
This is a quick start guide. But also the app is customizable and we're always building new stuff so feel free to dive into the app and if you can't find the functionality you want, let us know.
How it works
Each feature page in the app shows how it works, here's the basic workflow:
- You enable features and create rules to tell the app what to do
- When new orders come in (or the relevant event of the rule), Order Automator checks all your enabled features with the Shopify data
- If the data matches your rule / settings, the action is triggered
If you want to skip orders from being processed, add the tag disable_order_automator to the order before Order Automator sees it.
- Example: If you import orders in bulk and want Order Automator to ignore them, add the tag disable_order_automator to those orders before importing them into Shopify.
Order Automator rarely has downtime or issues. If something doesn't work as expected it's almost always a misconfiguration. The troubleshooting guide solves most problems instantly, but you can also contact us for help identifying what to adjust.
App Features
Each page in the app has a helper banner to show how that feature works. Feel free to explore.
