Fraud Guard Feature

Order Automator can take actions on orders if they're high risk or medium risk, according to the Shopify fraud analysis.

This feature is included in the Free plan.

Notifications

Get notified on risky orders so you or your staff can immediately analyze high risk orders and decide the action to take.

Auto cancel orders

You can have Order Automator automatically cancel risky orders.

Note: Sometimes Shopify rejects the request to cancel the order. If they do, you'll get notified at the email you set in Fraud Guard Notifications, or if that's not enabled it will go to your shop's primary contact.

Hold risky orders

Place a fulfillment hold on risky orders to prevent these orders from being fulfilled until the hold is released.

Prevent fulfillment

It's a good idea to prevent fulfillment of high risk orders until after you've analyzed them. Enabling this option cancels any fulfillment rules you have enabled by Order Automator, for this order.

Customer blacklist

You can blacklist customers by email, phone, name, or address. Blacklisting customers allows you to automatically take action on orders from these customers:

  • Cancel orders, hold orders, get notified

See Customer Blacklist for details on this feature.
