Sending emails from your domain

By default, emails are sent from Order Automator App <notifications@orderautomator.com>.

If you're on the Unlimited Pro or Unlimited Plus plan, you can can customize the sender name, sender email, and footer message.

Enabling the custom sender feature

  1. Contact us to request instructions to authorize your domain. Include the following:
    • Your myshopify domain (your-store-id.myshopify.com)
    • The email address to send from (example@yourdomain.com)
    • The name to send from (usually your store's name)
    • Your store's company name + address (required for compliance in the email footer)
  1. We'll give you the DNS records for you to update in your domain registrar to authorize sending emails from your domain
  2. After you've updated your DNS records, let us know and we'll verify the connection was successful (can take 1-2 days to for the update to complete)
  3. We'll enable the feature. Rule notifications will now be sent from your email address if you're on the Unlimited Pro plan or higher
    • If you're not yet on the Unlimited Pro plan or higher, the custom sender will enable after you change plans. Go to About > Change plans in the app and upgrade your plan
    • You'll be able to modify the sender information and footer message any time after enabled
